I found this article this morning on my local news station web site. I totally remember listening to these guys as a teen but now I'm not so sure I would be interested. I mean come'on is it really necessary to make a come back. Their main fan following was teenage girls and teens today defiantly won't be interested and how many of us thirty year old women are gonna be buying their new CD or concert tickets??!! Just thought this was kinda funny and I wanted to share with my former NKOTB friends!

BOSTON (AP) - They may be pushing 40, but the New Kids are returning to the block. The Boston-based boy band New Kids on the Block, which sold 70 million albums in its heyday, has reunited and plans to release a new album and go on tour.
The reunion comes 20 years after the release of the group's multi-platinum album, "Hanging Tough."
The group released a new photo yesterday and will reportedly appear on NBC's Today show tomorrow morning.
Band member Donnie Wahlberg told the Boston Herald the fan response to the reunion has been "incredible."
Wahlberg says he was convinced to get back together with his former bandmates -- Joey McIntyre, brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood -- when they decided to record new music.
Wahlberg assures fans, however, they will also play the old songs on tour.
